Between Snootli and Snooka creek lies Walker Island , the Rodeo grounds and numerous trails. Do mind the bears who like it here as well.

The Nuxalk settlement at Four Mile with Thorsen creek. At the entrance to the gorge on the west side above the creek lis the magical Petroglyph site.

The Bella Coola town site on the alluvial fan of Tastquan creek. Into the 1930s there were homes on the north side of the Bella Coola river, sunnier but low lying prone to flooding.
