Camp 2 FR is best travelled with a 4x4 due to steep section where other vehicles slip and chew up the road.
Cross the summit (c. 17km) to drive down to Jay Lakes Forestry Recreation site and hike for 3/4 hr to Bentinck Arms Lookout.

Great in winter from October (at right 2001.10.01) to May (at left) when local snow enthusiasts go there with snow mobiles. Snow shoeing and skiing requires a bit of endurance...
