At Clayton Falls there is a small hydro-electric power station, behind it are the falls, in front of it the BC Hydro recreation site with views across and down North Bentinck Arm.Breezy picnic, no bugs!

West of the Bella Coola town site stretches the beautiful estuary (freely accessible by land and by water) which teams with bird life, farther west then the Gov’t Wharf and the log harbour.
